Volunteers from the Goderich Township Womens In-
stitute assisted with Monday afternoon's activities of old
tynke music dancing and sing-a-long. Mrs. Molly Cox
joined the Huronvieve regulars Mary Taylor, Norman
Spell and Jerry Collinwto provide the music.
During the afternoon four new residents were welcomed
to the Home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles • Black of Howick
Township, Mrs. Hackwell, Walton, Mrs. Harrington, Clinton.
The Womens Institute from Goderich were hosts on
Wednesday'lor the April birthday party: One hundred and
fifty, residents and guests attended the party which in-
cluded a variety program, gifts 'for toe.. twentyclive cele-
brants, and lunch served by the ladies. eirsManie'Silt"--
cliffe introduced the program with dance numbers by
Eliza Lindsay, vocal duets by Reverend and Mrs. Warr,
Muriel Harrison and Helen Lindsay, readidgs by Mrs.
Crozier, • and Mrs. Van Arman, old tyme music by Joan
and Allan Schram, „ Mrs. Mosack,who celebrated her
97th birthday this-month, thanked th ladies on behalf of
the residents.
The residents were entertained on Family Night with
a travelogue, of Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii with
Mrs. Edith Landsborough giving the commentary and .
Mrs. Bert Jarvis operating the projector. Mrs. Murray '
Forbes played the. piano before the pictures and during
the intermission.
A Logan ybuth was fatally in-
jured Thursday night and three

in a head-on collision nortlk of
Mitchell.
Dead -is .Kenneth Eickrneyer,
son of Mr, and Mrs. Harold
Eickineyer, of Lot 2, Con. 4
Logan Township. He died Fri-
day after being admitted to Vic-
toria Hospital, London.

of Mitchell, said the four boys
were playing a game in which
two viould hide and the other
two would try to find them.
At the time of the accident
the mini-bikes were operating
without headlights, said Dr..
Rynne.
All four youths were wearing
motorcycle helmets.
The four mini-bikes collided
on CIA,. 2 Logan Township, a:-
bout 2 1/2 miles east of High-
way 23.

heat injuries.

sell Gordner, 15, the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Elmer GOrdner,.of RR 3, Mitchell, with bruises and
iacerations to his face and an
injured knee.
Kenneth EickmeYer was a stu-
dent at Northwestern Secondary
School, Stratford and a member
of Grace Lutheran Church, Mit-
chell,
Surviving are: his parents,
sisters, Marion and Shirley,
both at home; grandparents, Mr.
arid Mrs. George Eickmeyer and
Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Alkens,
of Mitchell.
The body was at the Heath-
Leslie funeral home, Mitchell,
where the funeral service was held Sunday.
Temporary entombment was
in Elizabeth Ritz chabel.
