Mrs. Edger Elligsen, •Mrs. Lloyd Prueter and Mrs. Albert Bauer pinned corsages on each guest. Everyone was welcomed by the L.C.W.President, Mrs. George Rock. The social began with a pro- gram. The hymn "Blest Be The Tie That Binds" was sung in unison, followed by a poem, "The Lord Has a Job for Me" by Mrs. George Rock. Mrs. Martha Hinz gave a reading "Good Memories and Prospects of Growing Old". Mrs.Albert Bauer and Mrs. Harold Elligsen sang a duet accompanied by Mrs. Arthur Horst. PaStor Horst shiewed a movie film ,of his move from Heidelberg to Brodhagen, which he had taken at that time. Familiar faces were seen to add to the enjoyment of these mother, Mrs. Mary Ryan, who, has returned home from Seaforth Hospital. The vice-chairman elairned that if the Christian School students were incorp- orated into the public schoolsys- tern, the provincial grants would be increased and figured on a "different ratio", effedting a more economical education for the county public school support- ers. Mr. Bruinsma further had charged "discrimination" ag- ainst the CriSiran School Board., Mr. Broadfoot reminded the board that some of the children from families where their ming- sters attend the Christian School ,Board School in Clinton attend. Public school kindergartens and opportunity classes. "Is this discrimination?" he asked.
