Victorian gown of Swiss dot over

carried a cascade bouquet of

Mrs. Michael Knell, Kit-
chener, was the maid of honour
and the bridesmaids were
Elizabeth Grant, Waterloo, sister
of the groom, Elizabeth Baffler,
Kitchener and Mrs.Barrie Dewar,
Newmarket. They were dressed
alike in. flame red Victorian
dresses and carried bouquets of
flame red carnations.

made by the bride.

Master Paul Menheere was the
ringbearer.
"The Wedding" and 'The
Wedding Blessing" were sung by
Mrs. Sharon Murray accom-
panied by Mrs. Minna Scott at
the organ.
The wedding dinner was
served in the Church parlour and
a reception at the bride's home
followed.
After a wedding trip to
northern Ontario and Michigan
the couple Will reside in E gmond-
ville.
Prior to her wedding the bride
was honored by a 4-H shower
at the home of Miss Gerda
Willems and a Church andCQITI-
munity Shower held at Egmond-
ville United Church.

Candelabra centered with tall
white tapers, daisies and mums
and elegant bouquets of mauve
gladioli and baby's breath graced
the altar of St. James' Church,
Seaforth, for the wedding of

daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony
Phillips, Seaforth, to Adrian

DeCoo, Seaforth, and the late Mr.
DeCoo;--on -Saturday, - July 29,
1972 at 3:00 p.m.
Father Laragh officiated at
the . Nuptial Ceremony. Pat
willing, . Martha Murray and
Donna Zorzacky, all of Kitchener
accompanied by. the guitar sang,
"For Baby", Never My Love",
"We Have Only Just Begun",
"Take This Dread", "You'll
Never Walk Alone", i ,United We
Stand", and "For All We Know".
The bride was given in mar-
riage by her father. Her gown
depicting a tender young look
of by-gone eras, was fashioned
in white silk organza and
Venice lace. The gown featured
an empire' waist and Victorian
sleeves. The sheer circular
yoke was edged with lace fleur-
ettes and tiny pearls to the nar-
row wedding band neckline. The
deep cuffs and sleeves were also
lavishly trimmed with the match-
ing lace and lace fleurettes.
A wide .band of. Venice lace en-
circled the Empire waist. The
full softly flowing A-line skirt
was banded by a deep ruffle which
encircled the skirt and around
the built in Cathedral train which
dropped gracefully from a bow
at the back. The front skirt and
back of the train, was also trim-
med with lace fleurettes,and
pearls ., A face Iran-ling
headpiece, designed by the bride,
was adorned with Venice lace
ffeurettes and held the silk illus-
ion Cathedral veil. She carried
a bouquet pf gardenias, Stephano-
tis, miniature pink and white
sweetheart roses, baby's breath
and ivy.
Mrs,Robert Baechler,Goder-
ich, was the matron of honor and
the bridesmaids were Mis.Andre
•Thibault, Sarnia, Mrs. Howard
James, Egmondville; Mrs. Eric
Ross, London Mrs. DonSteeper,
Nairn and Miss Melissa Mac-
Lean, Kitchener. They were
dressed alike in flopr-length
gowns of ivory and mauve chiffon
over taffeta, with a high neckline,
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Buchanan,
Bill , Doug, Betty and Bobby,
Mrs. Laws went by bus on Sun-
day to attend the church service
in Akron, Ohio conducted by Rev.
Rex Humbard.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Presz-
cator of Sebringville were Sun-
day visitors with .Mr. and Mrs.
Jim Preszcator, Billy and
Debbie.
„Thursday visitors with Mr.
and Mrs. Bill Dale and Cheryl

Mrs. W. L. Whyte, Tom and Bill

Mr. and Mrs. John Whyte and
Andrea returned home on Sun-
day. Jeffrey and 'Kerni are
remaining for two weeks with
their grandmother.

The bridesmaids' dresses of pea-
cock blue polyester crepe,
featuring empire waistline, softly
gathered skirts with white lace
over blue bodices, were trimmed
with white velvet ribbon. The
flower girls-wore the same style
with white crepe skirts with blue
lace over white bodices. They
carried nosegays of white, mums
and blue carnations.
Mr. Rannie Armstrong of
Owen Sound was the groomsman
and the ushers were Mr. °tin
Forrest, Seaforth a d Mr. Clif-
ford Snell of Blyth.
Mrs. Carol Carter, organist,
played traditional wedding music.
The reception was held in
the Legion Hall. The mother of
the bride wore a long dress of
pink polyester crepe with silver
accessories and corsage of white
mums and pink carnations. The
groom's mother was dressed in
a long green dress with corsage,
of bronze mums.
. For the wedding trip to the
United States, the bride travelled
in a white crimplene dress with
red and black trimming, black
accessories and corsage of red
roses.
The couple will' reside on
George Street, Seaforth,Ontario.

hymn and sung by the congre-
gation and "0 Jesus I Have
Promised".
The reception was held in
'the church hall. The groom's
mother wore a blue printed sheer
dress and matching plain coat
with a pink orchid corsage and
the bride's mother was dressed
in 'a coral polyester linen dress
trimmed with sequins and match-
ing jacket with yellow orchid
corsage.
For a wedding trip to the
Bruce Peninsula the bride travel-
led in a figured maroon and pink
full-length dress of jersey with
a pink orchid corsage.

London.
Guests were present from
Spragge, Temagami, St. Cathar-
ines, Walton, Brampton, Toronto,
London, Sault Ste Marie, Londes-
boro, Goderich and other points.
Both are graduates of the
University of Guelph. The groom
will attend teacher's college in
London in September and the
bride is a dietitian at St. Joseph's
Hospital, London.

baby's breath.

Mr. Pete DeCoo, Mitchell andthe
ushers were Mr. Tony DeCoo,
St. Thomas; Mr. Robert Cosford,
London, Mr, Tom Phillips, Sea-
forth, Mr. Jim Collins; Clinton
and Mr. Don Steeper, Nairn.
The reception was held t the
Seaforth Golf and Country Club,
where, the tables were decorated
with white candles,• pink roses
and baby's breath. The ,,head
table was centered with the three-
tierred wedding cake with silk
floral arrangements and pink and
mauve heather. The bride's
mother received the guests in a
floor-length gown of pale blue
crepe; white accessories and a
corsage of miniature pink and
rose roses and miniature mauve
carnations. The groom's mother
wore a floor-length gown of
yellow polyester satin. Acces-
sories of white gloves, shoes and
hand bag completed her attire and
she wore a corsage of miniature
yellow roses.
For the honeymoon, the bride
chose a figure floor-length
dress in shades of rose on a
white, background. It featured
princess lines arid short puffed
sleeves. • She carried a posy
of daisies in shades which corn-.
plimented the dress. The bride
and groom were piped- into the
reception by Mr. Peter Malcolm.
The couple will reside at

Miss Marg. Yule of Sault
Ste., Marie was the maid of honor
and the bridesmaids were Miss
Glenna Booker, St. Catharines
and Miss Vicki Booker,St.0 ath-
arines. They were ressed in
full-length mauve seersucker
gowns with puffed sleeves and
mandarin necklines. Carnations
were worn in their hair. They
carried long stemmed pink car-
nations and white daisies tied
with pink bows.
Mr. Don Booker of St. Cath-
arines was the groomsman and
ceremony. The church was
decorated with candelabra and
bouquet of gladioli.
Given in Marriage by her
father, the bride chose a white
georgette gown featUring stand-
up collar, softly gathered skirt,
long sheer puffed sleeves with
deep cuffs and a train which
fell from the Empire 6waistline.
Lace trimmed, the stand-up dol-
lar, waistline, train and down
the front of the gown. The veil
was held in place by a bow.
She , carried a bouquet of pink
tinted carnations.
Mrs.- Sharer Forrest, twin
sister of the bride, of Seaforth,
was the maid Of honor and the
bridesmaids were Miss Cathar-
ine Scott and Miss Janet Scott,
sisters of the bride of Seaforth.
Misses Lynn and Lisa Mac-
Donald, twin sisters of the groom,
Blyth, were the flower girls.
