"For the Beauty of the Earth" was sung with Mrs. Ray Huether as pianist. Mrs. A. McCall read the scripture from Psalm 96. Com- ments were given by Mrs. Jack McEwing on the beauty of the earth, closing with a poem "I saw. God wash the world last night". The offering was received by the treasurer, Mrs. Mac Shol- dice and was , dedicated by Mrs. A. McCall. The devotional period was closed by "This is my Father's World". Mrs. William Humphries chose as her topic "The. Old, Old Story", it being the wonder- ful redemption, the remedy for sin. r Mrs. Nelson Reid presided for business. The minutes were read by Mrs. Howardliackwell, followed by the correspondence. A shower was announced for Nellie Baan to be held in the basement of the church. The Roll Call was answered by thirty members. The copper contest leaders, Mrs. Ray Iluether and Mrs. Nelson Marks reported on their collection. Mrs. Mac Sholdice gave the treasurer's, report. There will be no meetings until September. Mrs. N. Reid reported on the retreat she had attended at Goderich recently. Lunch was -served by the hostesses, Mrs. Alex Gulutzen, Jr., Mrs. Doug.
