"We plough the fields and scatter" was sung, followed by a Scripture read- ing by Mrs. Sam Scott, who also gave a reading on Leaves. Mrs. J. M. Scott led in prayer, , Miss Nett Sinclair gave a reading on Christian Life In Africa. The guest speaker, Mrs. JohnMcCowan of the Sea- forth Horticultural Society dis- cussed "Flowers of a Lifetime". "Happy the Home when God is there" was sung. Lunch was served by Mrs. Beth Beckley and Mrs. Hilda Sellars. Mrs. Ure Stewart, on behalf of the group, thanked those who took part in the meeting. WINTHROP Trinity Anglican Church, Belgrave, was the setting for the marriage of tonstance Jean Nethery , R.R.4, Brussels and Murray Albert Nesbitt, Clinton on April 28th at 7;30 p.m. amid decorations of yellow and white shasta daisies. Rev. Keith Stokes officiated at the double- ring ceremony. The bride is'the "daughter of Mr., and Mrs. Alex Nethery and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Neibitt, Clinton. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose an Empire styled gown of white polyester-- satin with leg-of-mutton sleeves. The bodice _and bottom part of the sleeves were covered with lace. The lace-trimmed train was attached at the waist. Her shoulder-length veil was held by a crown-style headpiece.She carried a bouquet of white car- nations and yellow roses edged with fern. Joyce Netery, R.R.4, Brus- sels was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Brenda. Nethery, R.R.4, Brussels and Mrs. Sherri Pfaff of Exeter. Misses Denise and Angela Nethery were the flower girls. The maid of honor and 'flower girlS Were- dressed alike in tuia- quoise crystallete, empire style with black velvet ribbons inter- woven in whitelace at the waist- line. The bridesmaids wore empire styled nylon sheer gowns in swirls of yellow, green and blue trimmed with black velvet ribbon interwoven in white lace. 'They carried bouquets of white and, yellow carnations, blue strawflowers and fern. They all wore blue and yellow strait- flowers in their hair. Miss Brenda Johnston, organ- ist accompanidd the soloist , Miss Marjorie Proctor. • Maurice Nesbitt, Clinton• was the groomsman and the guests were ushered by Arthur Airdrie, Londesboro and Larry Nethery, R.R. 4, Brussels. The reception was held at, the Belgrave Women's Institute Hall. The bride's mother re- ceived guests wearing a floor- length gown of hot pink crepe with white bodice and lace trirh, corsage' of pink carnat- ions and blue strawflowers. She was assisted by the groom's mother dressed in a long gown of line green crepe trimmed with white lace. She wore a cor- sage of pink carnations. For their wedding trip to Southern Ontario the bride tra- velled in a beige doubleknit pant suit and brown figured blouse., with corsage-• Of yellow rose The couple will reside in Blyth. They wore -pink floral floor length gowns fashioned with scalloped necklines and short puffed sleeves.
