The leaders showed the members how to Make bias binding and piping and also how to insert the piping into a seam. The Walton I Nite Caps met again at the home of Bev Steven- son with the secretary's report by Anne Watson. The discussion led by Mrs. Watson was on plans for • Achievement Day, facings and understitching and casings for elastic. Mrs'. Searle dem- onstrated sewing lace and the hem on the garment at the same time. Walton 11 Snoozy gusies met at the home of Mrs. Don Mc- Donald when minutes were read by Marie Nolan. Mrs. Mc- ' Donald demonstrated the tech- niques of sewing facings and made samples for the lower edge of hem. Practical work was done by the junior members.
