Pease, Mrs. Lloyd Makins and Mrs. John Lindsay attended a luncheon on Tuesday, held in the parlour of St. James United Church, Ex- eter. The Rev. G. W. Goth, D.D., London, was the guest speaker ! and took as his topic, 'The !Every Family Plan" of the United Church Observer. Mr. Lyle Hill is u patient in Westminster Hospital, London. Canon and Mrs. F. H. Paull spent the weekend in Listowel. Mr. and Mrs. Hoyte of Strat- i. ford, spent the weekend at their cottage on Jane Street. Mr. and Mrs. Hendricks, Bir- mingham, Mich., were at their cottage last weekend. George Aitken and grandson, Norman of London spent Sat- urday at their cottage. Canon H. F. Lang-Ford of Kitchener is the guest of Mrs. R. H. F. Gairdner this week. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Pfaff and Mark. Windsor were at their cottage over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mote and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Steckle vis- ited friends in Mount Bridges last week. Dr. and Mrs. Smith of St. Marys spent the weekend at their cottage in Houston Heights. Mrs. William F. Buchan, W. Ewing Buchan and son Camie of Dunsville. were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Diehl on Friday and Saturday. Miss Hazel Wocks, Teeswat- er, was the weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. R. Roy Fitz- simons and attended the con- firmation service at Middleton on Sunday. Mr. J. R. R. Willoek, Torun- to, came last Wednesday to sp- end a few days at his cottage, and was joined by his wife and family on Friday and Mrs. Willock's sister. Mrs. Bruce Stapleton of Vancouver.
