We can quote Grey Township and East Zorra Township. The case for the Western part of Stanley Twp. is even stronger than these examples. Moreover, the provision of a four-room school at Bayfield does NOT prejudice the project for a central school at Bruce- field. 6. Conclusion-In view of what we have pre- sented(had hoped to present-Ed.Note) it should be apparent that we have consider- ed our proposal very carefully;that it is sound in present circumstances, end will be proven more sound in all aspects in future years. We cannot overemphasize that the overwhelming support we have for our proposal cannot be ignored. Nor do we intend to allow it to be ignored. We would therefore, ask the board to consider this proposal very seriously and as soon as possible, in order that a solution can be found which will satisfy the special geo- graphic and other considerations of the Western part of the School Area. We strongly advise that you author- ize the maintenance of public school facilities at Bayfield in an adequate , form by the building of additions to the present modern Bayfield school to • provide two additional classrooms and a general purpose room. I must ask you now, on behalf of our Committee0What are you going to do about our proposal 7 4 The Western Stanley Save Our School Committee. 2 June,1965.
