day for their home in Toronto,
en route to Prince Edward Is-

Mr. and Mrs. Ken Weston

their cottage this weekend and
had as guests Mr. and Mrs.
Hugh McCormick, London.
Mr. and Mrs. George Clark,
Detroit, were at their home on
Bluewater Highway, Goderich
Township, for a few days.
William Knox of Beachdale,
was a guest at The Rectory on
Sunday.

Miss Kathleen Reid and Miss
Phyllis Duckworth, having spent
five days at Enfield cottage,
have now returned to Windsor.
Canon F. H. Paull and Mrs.
Paull visited them on Wednes-
day and stayed overnight, re-
turning to Listowel on Thurs.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen Nobelis-
ton of Toronto, were guests this
weekend of Miss Mabel Hodgins
at "Stonehaven."
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Martin and
family are at their cottage on
Colina Street.
Mrs. W. McCracken, London;
W. J. Nicholls, Burlington, are
guests at the home of Mrs. F.
W. McEwen.

Business College
Announce Awards
Students and the staff of
Goderich Business College held
the graduation dinner recently
at the Bedford Hotel, Goderich.
The group was entertained
by Scottish dancer Linda Young
and piper Bryan Young.
Mrs. F. M. Weaver, principal
of the school, presented Miss
Sandra Hugill, of Seafcath,
with the Gold Medal Award.
Miss Hugill won the award
for typing 70 words per minute
on a 10-minute test with three
errors. The award was the first
ever earned at Goderich Busi-
ness College.
Awards for 60 to 69 words a
minute were made to Diane
Redmond, Dale McNee and Jo
Anne Johnston.
Mr. D. L. Atkinson had his
nephews, Stewart and Mrs. At-
kinson, David and Elizabeth,
St. Clair Shores, Mich., staying
with him from Friday until
Monday.
