Mr. and Mrs. Fred Heard, Stratford; Miss Lorna Heard, London; Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Haw, Proton; Mr. and Mrs. Doug Deller, Orangeville, visit- ed on Sunday with Mr. and family picnic with other mem- bers of the family. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Rid- dell, Hopeville; Mr. and Mrs. Doug Lougheed, Dundalk, were f recent guests with Mr. and Mrs. Don Haw. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Burt and children, London, Mrs. Burt's mother, Mrs. H. Gray of Toronto, Mr. and Mrs. Ron- ald Burt and two children, St. Catharines, were at their sum- mer home on Sarnia Road over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pounder and children of Chatham who were holidaying with their family, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Scotchmer and Howard last week, enjoyed a motor trip to Sudbury, returning by Mani- toulin Lsland and ferry to Tobermory. Mrs. Scotchmer was their guest on the trip. Mrs. A. S. Morton has her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Forester and her three children, of Ot- tawa, as house guests. Mr. Evans Cameron and son Scott ,Toronto, spent a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Cameron. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Oates and family, Kitchener, are occupy- ing Mrs. H. Cobb's cottage for the month of July. Mr. and Mrs. J. Gutsell and family are vacationing at En- field cottage for two weeks. Rev. and Mrs. J. H. E. Webb, London, called on friends in the village on Sunday, and also vis- ited Mrs. R. H. F. Gairdner at Clinton Public Hospital. Mrs. T. W. Oates, Hamilton. is at her cottage on Delevan Street for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon J. Pfaff and family, Windsor, were at their cottage this weekend. Dr. William F. Furter of R.M.C., Kingston, was the weekend guest of his uncle, Mr. H. Stinson. "Bill" leaves short- ly on the Canadian Navy ship "New Waterford" for a five week .tour of the Atlantic with stops at England and Denmark. Mr. and Mrs. J.
