While visiting in the village on Saturday, Mrs. C. Knuckey had the misfortune to fall and break her leg„ and is now a patient in Clinton Public Hos- pital. Mrs. M. After dinner, the following officers were elected for 1965: President, Mrs. Jim Young: vice-president, Paul Betties; secretary-treasurer, Mrs. Allen Bottles; sports committee. Bruce Betties and Gary Bet- tles. The afternoon sports program was under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Betties and Mr. and Mrs. Ken Settles. A candy scramble was held for the children. It was decided to hold the 1965 picnic in the same place next year on the last Sunday in July. • Mr. and Mrs. John Hayman, John, Gayle, Marnie, Barbara and Paul of Belleville, are stay- ing at his parents cottage in the Jowett Grove area for three weeks. Staying with Mrs. Jack Cluff from Friday until Sunday were her son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cluff, Stoney Creek and Paul Mass, London. Mrs. J. J.
