The Blues got an early 1-0 lead on the Stars when Larry Broome scored' at the twelve minute mark of the first period and from there on it was all Stars, as they wrapped home three straight goals to take a 3-1 lead by the half-way mark of the final period. Bob Watson, G rant Carnochan Bill Teall, Dave Broome, and Don Hulley scored for the Stars. Joe Dick scored the other goal for the Blues. Garry Osborne in goal for the Stars again came up with sev- eral key saves to haunt the Blues. He stopped Dave Watson and Broome both on clear-cut break- aways. Intermediate,' game at the local arena. I Bob Beuttenbillei scored two goals and assisted op another and Jack McIlwain scored one and set up three, more to lead the Beavers. On Dec, 5 in a game played at Goderich, Seaforth lost 5-1. Don O'Brien scored Seaforth's lone goal in this encounter. On Dec. 6th at Mitchell, Sea- forth defeated Mitchell by a score of 6-3. B. Lane opened the scor- ing for Seaforth in the first per- iod. Mitchell tied the score early in The second, only to have sea- forth come back with four goals in a row to take a five to one lead.
