At the 'Park 'oe Friday night,
gOOd-natured rivalry and slightly
bent rules made an entertainjng
ball game as the married ladies
defeated the men by a scOre of
27 to 22. Batters for the men•
were Ina Finlayson and Margaret
Ann Parkinson while Prank
Elliott pitched and Laverne vial-
lace catfeht for the ladies. A
On Sunday evening a , girls
team from St. Marys defeated
the local team of Cromarty and
Staffa girls by a score of 24 to
16.
On Saturday night the
Cromarty girls defeated the
Dublin Goodtimes 19 to 17.
On July 12th Ron Edwards'
team of boys , The Beagles,
defeated Dublin Expos by a score
of 31 to 29.

Johnston had taken to Trinidad and the Bahamas, Mrs.
George Henderson of Brucefield played several selections
