Arnold Scott as mistress of cere- monies. The shower was opened with 0 Canada, after which an entertaining and talented hour by the young people was enjoyed. Donna, Debbie and Darlene Hend- erson sang numbers accompanied by Mrs. Henderson. The Silver Strings Orchestra with Linda Godliin on the violin, Faye Dal- ton on the piano,Beth McNichol on the banjo an Ray McNichol on the electric guitar presented numbers. Sharon. and Bobby Thompson accompanied by Mrs. Arnold Scott sang two numbers. Evelyn Stoiey accompanied by Diane Henderson sang. Jane Johnson and Elizabeth Pryce sang duets, accompanied by Jane Johnson. Shirley and Doris Mc- Clure and Sharon Thompsoii sang as a trio. A jar of items contest was held. Diane Henderson read the address. Donna Faye thanked all present and invited everyone to visit her in her new home in Egmondville. Seaforth Town Council hopes it has found the answer to the growing problem ,of dogs run- ning at, large in the town with the purchaie of an "automatic dog catcher". The deVice cod:, sists of a baited cage, big enough for all but the largest dogs, which imprisons the animals when they enter and take the bait.
