Plans Event
1 Hundreds of spectators are
expected to view the third annual
Sail Past in Goderich Harbour
next Sunday afternoon.
The event will be conducted
by members of Goderich Power
Squadron, one of 115 units of
Canadian Power Squadrons, the
nationwide safe-boating organiz-
ation.
Roy P. Nield,Sar, Western
Ontario District Commander,
will take the salute, w th Com-
mander E. B. Menzies, at 2 p.m.
from the south pier. Boats will
be "dressed" and a prize will be
awarded for the hest-decorated
boat. The competition is open
to all boaters whether members
or not.
The public is invited to view
the Sail Past, and the sail and
power boat -races scheduled to
follow.
