The weather proved just right to go riding. Several passing cars stopped and admired the variety of riding horses, - pinto, palomino, chestnut, paint, sorrel and an occasional grey. Everyone enjoyed the ride through Dodd's Hills and th e practice session afterwards in the ring. Anyone interested in joining- the club , is ' asked to get in touch with Doug Riley. U.C.W. Cavan's U.C.W: monthly meeting was held in the church on Wednesday evening when Mrs. Axtman opened the meeting with an article from the book, "A Woman's Daily Prayer" called "Spring-,Wind". E,We Plough°the Fields and Scatter" was sung, and Mrs. Axtman read a paper ',God in Nature". Mrs. Charles Boyd took her topic from. the New Study Book, "All This and Christ, Too", The, chapter was about a new humanity or what is man. Roll call was 'answered by naming a Queen in the Bible. Note was made of a card of thanksfrom Mrs. Tom Pryce. Artibles for the bale are to be brought to the next meeting. A financial report was given by' Mrs. Don Dodds. and "The Glory of the Spring How Sweet" was sung.' Mrs. Axtman pronounced the benedictioh. Unit finetS.
