the "Annual Cuboree" to be held
for the second year in a row at
Family Paradise • park near
Walton on June 19th and 20th.

Registration for the cubs will
begin 'at 9:30 A.M. Saturday
morning June 19th, Among the
activities planned for the first
day are horseshoe games, tug-
of-war, swimming,' trail hiking,
soccer, fishing and a campfire
in the evening. Sunday will include
Camp Inspection and the closing
ceremony.

tute sponsored a Dessert Euchre
411 in the Community Hall on Wed-
nesday evening with approxi-
mately 82 peopl e in attendance.
There were 19 tables of euchre
in play with prizes going to

The Thankoffering service of
the United Church Women was
held on Sunday evening in the
Duff's United chnrch, Spring
flowers surrounded 'the pulpit.
The choir was in attendance for
this special occasion. The mem-
bers and guests were greeted
by Mrs. 'Fred Dunk and Mrs.
Gerald Watson was the usher.
Mrs. Wm. Roe, Presiant of
the-U.C.W. opened the service
and welcomed "everyone. A hymn
was sung with the organist Mrs.
Ian Wilbee accompanying. Mrs.
Neil McGavin read the scripture
from '_,uke 9:18-2'7, followed by
an Easter meditation. Mrs.
Norman Schade led in prayer.
Miss Gail Traviss sang a solo
"I Walked today where Jesus
walked". The offering was re-
ceived by Mrs. Harold Bolger,
Mrs. Don McDonald, MrS. Doug
Fraser and Mrs. Alvin McDonald
and dedicated by Mrs. N.Schade:

U.C.W. meeting for more Bible

Wingham, as Director of Individ-
ual • Service Members Project
Planning. In his new capacity,
Mr. Armstrong will be acting
in close lialion 'with County
Federations of Agriculture in the
development of programs for In-
dividual Service mc/mbers.

appointed as secretary-Manager
of the Ontario Commodity
