Firm- Aftributes Growth
To Concern for Service
The opening._ of Anstett
Jeweller's new store on Thursday
occurs almost ten years from t4
date the firm ' established
business here. Anstetts pur,-
chased 'the business of the late
J. A. Westcott when Mr. Westcott
retired in 1961. Thus was con-
tinued a history extending over
50 years of a jewelery store in the
same location.
Anstett JewelerS Ltd. also
has outlets in Clinton and Walker-
ton but the new Seaforth location
will be the,largest store interms
of floor spice.
Founder and owner of the
chain, which started in Clinton
h.
in 1950 is John A. AnStett. He
learned the jewelery business in
Woodstock and Dundas and on his
return fifom service during World
War 11 decided to enter the busin-
ess as a career.
""We have found that the
aiswer to serving your com- •
Triunity is td have a complete
stock and a modern store" Mr.
Anstett said. He emphasized that
the public was entitled to a Cont.:
plete selection and to the most
modern setting in which to shop.
"That is why we carry such a
large stock at each of our stores
and why we have planned our new
Seaforth store so carefully. We
try to make certain that each of
our Stores reflects the most
modern arrangement possible so
that our customers may make
their selections amid the most
attractive and pleasant surround-
ings:" "The people we serve in
the Seaforth area have made
possible our new store tlirough
their steady support and patron-
age", Ray Anstett, Manager of
the Seaforth store said. “We have
confidence in the community".
Mr. Anstett went on to indic-
ate that while a complete stock,
and a modern store were prime'
essentials, there Is another
equally irrrportant,factor and that
was service. ,
