Honor Couple on 25th Anniversary

The Dublin Parent-Teacher's
Association met Monday in the
Dublin Separate School gym with
,approximately 45 present. The
treasurer's report indicated a
• bilance of $265.09. The meeting
was ,turned over to Lou Rowland
for the nominating of a new
committee. Those elected were:
president, John Schoonderwoerd;
first vice president, Ron Murray;
secretary, Mrs. Lorne Flanagan; •
treasurer, Mrs. Frank Van Ber-
gen; programme • 'Committee,
Mrs. Neil S,choonderwoerd, Ferg
Kelly, Ed Rowland.
Sister Patricia thanked the
outgoing committee and Bill
, Flanagan welcomed the new
officers. The mystery prize was
won by Ed. Rowland.
• Rev. Father Dill introduced
the guest speaker, Father Priew
from St. Peter's Seminary' in
London, who spoke on the Sac-
rament of Penance.
WOMEN'S. INSTITUTE
The Dublin Women's Institute
• met at the home of Mrs. Herb
Britton" on Tuesday when Mrs.
Charles Friend, president,
opened the meeting. The roll
call was answered by- 12. mem-
bers and one visitor on, '"How
to Prevent Moth Damage."

A surprise party was held
held at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Anthony Loomans, RR 1,
• Dublin in honour of their 25th
wedding anniversary on Satur-
day, arranged by their neigh-
bours and friends.
Mrs. Wilfred Krauskopf read
an address and Mr. and Mrs.
Loomans were given a swag
lamp and flowers. The imin'hd-
• late family were all present at
a dinner held at the Huron Hotel
and presented their parents with
a vacuum cleaner and a lazy
boy chair as well as a number
of other gifts.

and Mrs. Bill Feeney, Stratford;
Mr. and Mrs. Martin' Van Rooy
and family, Harley; Mr. Bona-
yenture Loomans, Mitchell; Miss
rosemary Vandenhengal, Sea-

W. Annis. Mrs. W. Annis then
introduced Mrs. Robert Croninc,
who spoke on Physical"Fitness.
Mrs. Harold Pethick thanked
Mrs. Cronin and presented her
with a gift. The installation of
officers for 1971 followed with
the past executive remaining in
office. The treasurer's report
was given by Mrs. Lloyd Barker
and the standing committee re.
ports were read. Mrs. C. Friend
thanked everyone for their work
with the Institute for 'the past
year. Lunch was served by Mrs.
Joe Dorsey and Mrs. Roy Bur-
chill.
