16 a petition, signed by 29
interesteci citizens ,and' rate-,
payers of the Townships of Hulled-
and Goderich, and the Town of
Clinton, was presented asking
that Council reconsider issuance
of a Building- Permit to John
Rapson. Several of the signers
and Mr. Rapson were present at
the meeting. After some dis-
cussion Mr. Ranson stated he
would ,not build a • mink shed
against the wishes of his'neigh-
bours and that he had been un-
aware of their feelings. Council
agreed t o amend a previous
motion approving a permit.

and Boundary Unit of the U.C.W.

The last meeting of the Kip-
penJ's “Separates for Summer",
was held at the home of Mrs.
Robert Tamer. Minutes were
read by -Debbie Consitt and Linda
Bell was elected as the new
secretary. Ideas for a skit were
discussed and. Judith Mickle and
Linda Bell were chosen Co write
up the skit. The group will go
to Mrs. Alderdice's on Thurs-
day tc practise the skit and
hand in books and garments.
Bullet Township tax rate
increased by three mills when
-council established the rate for
the current year at the April
meeting.
The residential rate of 24
mills last year goes up to 27
mills and the bpsiness and com-
mercial rate is increased from
27.5 mills to 30 Mins.
Council agreed to participate:
in the Ontario, employment in-
centive, scheme and discussed
with Keith Tyndall problenis of
municipal drains and with Ken
Gibbins and W. Smith procedures
to follow in land severance, It
indicated it had no objection to a
severance requested or to the
location of a proposed home.
