participated as judges, and were

In other business, •Mrs. Gei-
ger stated that the area con-
vention will be held in Ontario
-Street Church, Clinton on Sept-
ember 30 and October 1 and the
annual, on May 20. in Hensall
United Church, with Hensall
branch as hostess. It was de-
cided to commemorate the 75th
anniversary at district level at
the district annual in May, 1972.

Cavan United Church Women
held their Easter meeting in the

basement of the church with Mrs.
Jim Axtman presiding.
An Easter meditation was pre-
sented by Mrs. Jim Axtmann and
Mrs. Russell Bolton. Plans were
made for the Ham Supper to be
held on the 21st April.
Mrs. Bob McKercher showed
slides of England, Scotland, Den-
mark and Sweden taken on a trip
last summer.
