apostle Peter. We must realize
our horizons and our spiritual
possibilities, she said.

when communion was held with,
a confirmation class of eleven
new members. ,
Those joining the church

4-H MEETING
The Walton I Sewing Savers
Homemaking Club held their fifth
meeting at the home of Margaret
Shortreed on Monday evening with
the President Ann Watson in
charge. Joan Bennett read the
secretary's report. The roll call
Was answered by 8 girls. .
Discussion involved where to
wear slacks and shorts and where
not to. Mrs. Searle demonstrated
hoW' to put in a curved seam.
8TH AND 16TH UNIT
The 8th and 16th Unit met
at the home of Mrs. Jan Van
Vliet Jr., Wednesday evening.
Mrs. George McCall opened
the meeting with a poem "Say
It". Mrs. McCall read theScrip-
ture from Matthew, Chaper 28.
The Topic "The Risen Christ
and Harsh Reality " was taken
by Mg's. Doug Fraser. A poem
entitled "Marking Time" was
read by Mrs.• McCall and- Mrs.
Don McDonald read a historical
article on crucifixion and took
charge of the business.
Minutes were read by the sec-
retary 'and the roll call was
answered by 11 members. Lunch
was served by Mrs. Don McDon-
ald, Mrs. Alvin McDonald and
the hostess.
