He was a retired farmer,
who had been active in munici-
pal affairs, serving oh Morris
township' council for eight years
as councillor and two, years as
reeve. lie was• a mely_iber of
Melyille Presbyterian Church,
Brussels. Ile attended school
at-S.S.No. 6 Morris.
