MARGARET HULLEY Margaret (nee Walker) Hulley of Seaforth passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015. She was in her 83rd year. Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Hulley (2007) and the loving mother and mother-in-law of Bob and Janet Hulley, Blyth; Ev Robinson, RR 3, Kippen; David Hulley, Winthrop and Debbie and Glen Haney, Seaforth. She was the cherished grandma of Peggy Hulley, Marie Yoanidis (Ryan), Heather Hulley, Becky Hoogenes (Greg), Nic Robinson (Robyn), Meagan Ingram (Tanner), Craig Robinson, Rachel Vaarkamp (Mark), David Haney (Jen), Brian Haney; and great-grandma of eight. She will also be missed by her siblings, Caroline McGhee, Alice Gardiner (Larry), Kenny Walker (Olga) and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her son Daniel Hulley (1974), her daughter Sandra Robinson (2014), her brother Alec Walker, sister Helen Currie and her brother-in-law Jack McGhee. Cremation has taken place and memorial visitation will be held at Bethel Bible Church, 120 Main St. S., Seaforth on Saturday, Jan. 17 from 12:30 to 2:45 p.m. followed by a memorial service to celebrate Margaret’s life at 3 p.m. A reception in the church will immediately follow the service. Spring interment will take place at Staffa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Bethel Bible Church would be appreciated and can be made through McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth or by visiting Margaret’s online memorial at mcglynnfamilyfuneralhome.com DELORES KATHLEEN (GOWER) SOUCH Delores Kathleen (Gower) Souch passed away peacefully at Clinton Hospital on Friday, Jan. 9. She was in her 77th year. Delores is survived by husband Bill, son Gary and his wife Cheryl, daughter Lynda and her husband Randy, son David and his partner Sherri, her grandchildren Darryl, Melissa, Adam, Mathew, Felicia, Richard, Laura, Xavier, Keeara, and her great-grandchildren Edyn, Owen and Hailey. Delores was predeceased by her parents Tad and Rose Gower, parents-in-law Charles and Laura Souch, brother Dave, Bill, sister Shirley, daughter-in- law Sherry and brother-in-law Murdie. She is survived by brothers John and his wife Ruth, Don and his wife Joan and sisters-in-law Sue Gower, Mildred Golley, Leota King, Joanne Souch and brother-in-law Murray. There will be a memorial at a later date. GERALD McARTER Gerald McArter of Brussels passed away peacefully at Wingham and District Hospital on Friday, Dec. 26, 2014. Born in Morris Township on Oct. 21, 1933, Gerald was in his 82nd year. Gerald was the beloved husband of 41 years to Ruth (Jewell). He was the dear stepfather of Doug Huether, Brussels and Greg and Dinny Huether, Listowel, the dear brother of Donna Fischer, Mel and Lois McArter and Dorothea and Oscar Ducharme and a loving step- grandfather to Bill and Angel Huether, Annette Burgers, and Greg and Mandi Huether. Gerald was also loved by his many nieces, nephews and great-step-grandchildren. Gerald was predeceased by his parents John and Elsie (Beirness) McArter, his brothers Jim McArter and Murray McArter and brother-in- law Roy Fischer. Gerald was a very hard worker and loved agriculture and farming, a true steward of the land, equally adept at construction, welding and mechanics. Friends were received by the family one hour prior to the funeral service which was conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 30 at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels. Pastor Sandra Cable officiated. Interment took place at Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Condolences may be left at www.schimanskifamilyfuneral home.com FREDERICK IRVING ELLIOTT Irving Elliott passed away at his residence, RR 4, Wingham on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015. He was 80. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret Alder who predeceased him in 2012. Irving was the dear father of Fred and Dale Elliott, Brantford; Edward Elliott, Caistor Centre; Larry and Natalie Elliott and Len and Leni Elliott, all of Hamilton. He was the grandfather of Sarah, Diahann, Makenna, Kerrigan, Raymond and Michael and the brother-in-law of Don Rideout, North Bay; George and Barb Alder, Keswick and Betty Galloway, Huntsville. Irving was predeceased by brother-in-law Roy Galloway and sisters-in-law June Rideout and Ruth Latimer and her husband Sam. Visitation is at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Saturday, Jan. 17 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Peter Lampman will officiate. Memorial donations to the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
