Born, in Tuckersmith Town- ship, the son of Mrs. Wm. Mont- gomery and the late IVIr.tiont- gomery, he was educated here and for a number of years was employed in the John Boshart plant. For some time he had been a member of the custodial staff of Seaforth District High School. Mr. MontgOmery was a veteran of World War 11 having served from 1939 to 1945. He was a member of Seaforth Branch 156 Royal Canadian Legion.Mem- bers of the Legion atteeded a memorial service Sunday evening at the Box Funeral Chapel. He is survived by his wife, the former Marjory Golding, to whom he was married at Staffa on November 23, 1946 and by four sons, James of 1041 Erie Street, Stratford, Gary, Robert and Edward and- - a daughter Margaret all at home. He is also survived by his mother,Mrs. Ellen Montgomery, two sisters, Miss Luella and Viola, Mrs. Harvey Beuerman and a brother, Earl, all of Seaforth. DENIS H. WALSH Denis H. Walsh passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, London, Wednesday, December 10th, af- ter a lengthy illness. He was 43 years of age. Bore in McKillop Township, he was the son of the former Mary Nigh and the late john ' Walsh. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Angela O'Reilly to whom he was married in St. Columban in 1950, and by one daughter, Marilyn, two sons, Martin and stevdn, all at home. His mother, Mrs. Mary. Walsh, Toronto, seven sisters, Mrs. Jo- seph (Mary) Ryan, Mrs. Fergus (Teresa) Feeney, Dublin, Mrs. Borden (Peggy) Bayes, Mrs. Ter- rence (Javaieline) Mockler, Mrs. Earl (CatWine) Aslin, Toronto, Mrs. Leonard (Joan) Clarke, LOndon; Mrs. Raymond (Rita) Coombs, Seaforth. Three bro- thers, Rev, Brother Martin and William, Montreal, and John of Stratford. His father predeceased him in 1957. His body rested at the John T. Donahue Funeral Home, Lon- don, until Friday morning, when solemn High Mass was sung by Rev. Father Nigh, Rev. Father Spencer, Rev. Father Mousseau, at St. Martin's Roman Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Burial was in St. Peter's Cemetery. Acting pallbearers were Johril Mockler, Robert Devereaux, Leo White, Les Davies, Del Ling and Mr. MacNamara. '44 MENNO H. FISCHER Menno H. Fischer, Fullar- ton Township, died Tuesday in Seaforth Community Hospital. A son of the late Henry Fis- cher' and Louise Meyscheyn, he was born Nov. 15, 1898. He married the former Elizabeth Bach on June '1, 1927—His wife died June 27, 19.
