been sent to sick members. In
charge Q1 the altars for December
are Mrs. Jack McIver and Mrs.
Theo Van Bakel. Mrs, Dominic
Murray was appointed to visit
the sick. Teri dollars was voted
to the Development and Peace
Fund. It was decided to remem-
ber the sick and shut-ins with
a gift at Christmas. It was sug-
gested that a teen-age party be
held during the Christmas holi-
days, to be planned by the young
people.
The Church will lie cleaned
later this month.

The roll call was answered to
with 'My most distant Christmas
card'. Minutes were read by Mrs.
Jim Statton and /vita. Tom But -
ters read the Treasurer's Re-
port. •
• Mrs. C. Friend made an ap-
peal for an assistant to aid her
with the 4-H ,Club, as her pre-
vious assistant has moved away.
Anyone who has any, spare time
would be greatly appreciated and
they wouldfind this a very worth-
while and rewarding job, Mrs.
Friend told the meeting.
, Mrs. Tom Butters 'read a
. report on the officer' banquet
, at Russeldale.which she and Mrs.
Olive Britton had attended.
It was agreed to send $12
!;:i to Spruce Lodge to provide room
dividers. The Institute also do-
nated $10 to the Retarded Chu-

dren and $10 tO. the Children's
Aid in Stratford as their Christ-
mas project. It was also agreed
that a -donation be given to Mr.
and Mrs. Lorne Cronin and fa-
mily, who recently lost every-
thing in a fire.
The next meeting will be held
in January at the horns of Mrs.
'John Nagle, with Citizenship and
Education the topic for discus-
sion.
The special guest for the
evening was' Mrs. Bill Durst
of Seaforth who displayedChrist-
mas decorations and table
centres. Mrs. Jack Burchlic
thanked Mrs. Durst and presen-
ted her with a. gift.
An auction Sale followed and
Mrs.'" Norman McKay thanked
Mrs. Cronin for the use of her
home and Mrs. Coville for ar-
ranging the-Meeting.
