Auxilliary, their husbands and
friends were the guests of the
Legion mlimaers on a bus trip
to London on Sunday. They at-
tended the Musical 'Oliver', fol-
lowed by dinner.

met Monday evening at the home
6 of Mrs. Mac Wilson with 15
members and a visitor present.
Mrs. J. A.McEwan and Mrs. Jim.
McNaughton were in charge of
devotions. Mrs. McNaughton
opened with prayer followed by
the reading of the Scripture
Mrs. McEwen took as her
topic "A Heroic Figure" and
spoke of the:work of Mrs.Lil-
ban Dickson who was a mis-
sionary among the lepers in
Tiawan.
Mrs. IVicNaughton read' a poem
entitled "God's Good Samarit-
an" and Mrs. Ross Chapman,
presided for business. Mrs.
Berry reported that q uilt had
been finished,.but there was still
otter*. 'd0kAitreta-well Auct was
signed 'for VIrs. Alex, V.itterson
who is In hospital. Christmas
boxes for shut-inl'riends are to
be packed Decemaer 3 and the
,December meeting, will be a
Christmas party and ,start with
a pot luck supper at the home
of Mrs. John Broadfoot.

M.(Mac) T. FEENEY
The death occurred at Scott
Pavilion,' K. W. Hospital, Kit-
chener, on Tuesday ,of Malachi
(Mac)-Thomas Feeney of 69 John,
Street East, Waterloo following
a lengthy illness, He ,was -in
his 81st year. ,
A long-time resident of Dublin,
he was born in the village, the
son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
James Feeney.
fic is survived by his wife, the
former Margaret Aim Sloan, Win-
ston Hall Nursing Home, Bridge-
port. He is also survived by
three sons 'Michael, London,
Gerald, Kitchener and Fergus
of Waterloo and by two daughters,
Mrs. Beverly (Loretta) "lender-
Son, London and Mrs. Agnes
Hickman, Saskatoon and by 17
'grandchildren 'and one great
grandchild and by a brother,
Mi.chael of Deiroit. He was pre-
clateased by three brothers and
three sisters.
He had been a mower of
$t. LouiS Parish, Waterloo for
two years and a life long member
of St. Patrick's ,Roman Catholic
Church, Dublin,' •
The remains ,are resting , at
the W.J,Cleary funeral home,
Seaforth, until 9: 30 Friday morn-
ing November' 21st and will ar-
_,rive at St. Patrick's Roman
Catholic Church, Dublin for
Mitss at 10 o'clock.
Temporary entombment will fol-
low in the Elitabeth Ritz Map-
oleum, Mitchell with burial later
in St. Patrick's Cemetery,4Dub-
lin. •

Seaforth, early Wednesday morn-
ing, He was 49.
Bern in Logan Township, he
was the son of the late Albert
Querengesser and the former
Katherine Orem. On complet-
ion of school, he farmed for a
number of years prior to estab,
lishing a trucking busing,ss which
he had continued to operate .
In 1959 he_ mbKed to Seaforth
when he was married to the
former Evelyn Rivers, who sur-
vives. He is also survived by
his mother. Mts. AlbertQueren-
gesser and by a brother, Alfred
W., both of .3ornholm and by four
sisters, Carolyn, Mrs. John Ar-
buckle, Maple, Adelia, Mrs. Don-
ald Stauch, Kitchener, Dorothy,
Mrs. Clifford W•.‘odward, Toronto
and J8yce, Mrs. Bernard Clar-
ence, Stratford. He was a
member of Seaforth Branch 156
Royal Canadian Legion.
Funeral service will be con-
ducted by Rev. T.C.Mulholland
of First Presbyterian Church
from the R.S.BoN Funeral Chapel
Seaforth, on Friday afternoon at
2 p.m. Interment will follow in
Maitlandbank Cemetery..
