On Friday evening October
10th, 1969 in Northside United
Ch'urch, Sea-forth, the Rev. J. C.
Britton united in marriage,
Kathleen Rosanne Dale, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dale of
R. R. 1, Clinton, and Wayne
Frederick Hoegy, son of Mr, and
Mrs. Lavern Hoegy•of Dublin in
a 'double-ring ceremony,
Purple dahlias, white gladioli
and candles formed the setting
for the bride who was given in
marriage by her father. She wore
an A-line, floor-length gown of
white satin fleur de lis, Seed
pearls outlined the lily of the
valley pattern, enhanced the
neckline and cuffs on long full -
sleeves. Her cathedral length •
veil which formed a train Was of
silk illusion net banded with wide
lace and was held in place by a
feathered wedding ringthead-
piece edged in rhinestones. The
bride's bouquet was white baby
carnations centered with a mauve
orchid.
Miss Cheryl Dale was her
sister's maid of honour and
bridesmaids were Misses YvOnne
and Maureen Hoegy, sisters of
the groom. Flowergirls were
Meribeth and Melanie-SOtt and
Karen Glousher, nieces of
bride. All attendants were gown-
ed " ivory peau de poiret,, in•
st similar to the bride. They
married bouquets of variagated
6urple baby carnations with
mauve and purple streamers,
matching bows formed their
headdress.and each wore a birth-
stone pin,-gift of the bride,
The groomsman was. Mr, Bob_
Watson of Seaforth and the ush-
ers were Mr, Bryan Coultes of
Belgrave and Mr, Dodglas.Hoegy,
brother of the groom,
Mrs. Harvey Brown of Blyth
was the organist and the soloist
was Miss Sharon Staples of Dub-
lin,
Dinner was served in the
Church parlour where the bride's
mother received the guests, She
wore a champagne and brown'
ensemble with a corsage of .
orange delight roses, She. was
assisted by the groom's mother
who chose a coat and dress en-
sernble of emerald green shan-
tung and corsage of bronze baby
mums,
Following dinner a dance was
yield at the Seaforth Community
Centre,
For travelling to points North,
the bride donned a mini-length
blue.wool jumper and ivory
crepe blouse with cowl neckline
