Know the Rules
1, New regulations require snowmobiles to be registered with
the Department of Transport (fee $4), and the permit is
valid for 2 years.
2. Snowmobiles must carry a license plate on the front.
3. Operation of snowmobiles is prohibited on King's highways,
but may be permitted on highways under municipal juris-
diction, except there prohibited by by-law.
4.- To use'a snowmobile on such a highway, the driver must
be 16 or over, and must carry liability insurance. He
doesn't need a driver's license, however.
5. Use I1'and signals when -stopping or slowing down.
6: If snowmobile is to be operated on a highway when lights
are required, it must have at least ,one white or amber
light on the front and one red light On the back. '
