It was cadet inspection at Seaforth District High
School on Friday when more than 200 students took
part in a ceremonial parade.
InSpecting officer was Maj. L. B. Melansonof
the 21st Field Regiment, (M). He was assisted by Lieut.
N. E. Wilson of Western Ontario headquarters, London.
The 160 cadets para'ded with the "assistance of the
45-member high school girls' trumpet band. , Cadet
Maj. James Rowat, who was named the best officer on
parade, let the cadets.
Selected as best NCO or cadet ort parade was WO11
JOhnMcCrath while cadet/Lt. Paul Nloggach was. named
the officer or NCO showing the best qualities of leader.-
ship.. Cadet Cpls. Doug, Hoover and Laurie Kruse. ,were
Selected as the most improved Cadets.
The program included demonstrations of f irst aid
with Cadet/Cpl. Keith Wilbee.in charge: map reading.
with Cadet/Lt. Paul Nloggach in charge: C.1% Rine
with Cadet/Cpl. James Dallas in charge and a Gymn-
astic Display with Cadet Rick MacKenzie in charge.
The S. D. H. S. Trinopet Band was directed by 'George

aced the cadets .and hand for their outstanding perform-
ance and cadet instructor Major Archie Dobson added his
congratulations.. .
