interesting battle for top spot
between these two clubs,
however, you can't overlook the
other teams as Port Elgin could
come up with a few surprises
and Wiarton always has a strong
team.
This move should prove to
be beneficial to both the team

evenings entertainment. The

new league will be next Tuesday

MITCHELL UPSETS
EXETER 5 -43
Another strong performance
by Mitchell backed by stellar goal
tending from Dan Campbelton,
enabled the Hawks to hand Exeter
its second loss of the season

ened Mitchell's hold on fourth
place and moved them within two
points of third.
• Mitchell's scoring attack was
led by Jim Avery and Dave Ches-
sell with two goals each and a
single was added by Jim Rolph.
Exeter scoring was handled by
Ron Lindenfield with two and Pete
Glover with a single.
Mitchell led 3 - 1 at the end
of the first period but had their
lead cut to 3 - 2 at the end of
the second and then outscored
Exeter 2 - 1 in the final period.
