The bride is the former Carolyn Marie Cook of Heneall,
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs . Robert Cook, Hensall while
the groom is the son of Mrs. Betty Wilkin of 'Goderich.
They are residing in London, Ontario where they will attend
the University of Westtrn Ontario.

All wore a pink headress of silk
illusion with a double row of
white pearls on the front and
pink gloves. They carried white
parasols trimmed with lace and
miniature pink and raspberry
carnations.
Miss Lisa McClure niece
of the bride, as flowergirl wore
a pink chiffon dress with short
sleeves and a tiny ruffle around
the bottom. She carried a small
basket of pink and raspberry
carnations.
Larry McLean, Hensall, bro-
ther of the groom, was best man.
Guests 'were ushered by Dan
McMillan, London, Bob Turner,
R. R. 1„Zurich, brother of the
bride, and Eric Campbell, Hen-
Sall.
For a reception held in the
Fellowship Hall decorated in
pink and white, the bride's
mother received guests wearing
a sleeveless dress of mint green
crepe with a soft cowl neckline
and princess line accented by
pearl beading. She wore mint
green accessories and a cor-
sage of pink roses. She was as-
sisted by the groom's mother
who chose a yellow and white
sleeveless knit two piece ensem-
ble. She wore yellow and white
accessories and a corsage of
tawny roses.
A reception was held in the
Zurich Community Centre later
in'the evening at which the young
couple was presented with a gift
of money.
For their wedding trip to
Washington, D.C. and Cape Cod,
the bride chose a pink crepe pant'
outfit trimmed with rose beads
around the empire waist. Her
accessories were tiny pink roses
in her hair and white "wet look"
shoes and purie, and a corsage
of pirik roses. The young couple
will reside in London where they
are both employed.
Prior to her wedding the bride
was entertained, at several show-
ers. Those honoring her were
Mrs. Ann McMillan, London, a
"His and Her" shower held at
the home of Mr. and Mrs Elmer
Hayter, Varna; Varna Community
held a t the Varna hall and girl-
friendg at 3M where the bride is
employed- held at the apartment
of Miss Colleen Meagher in Lon-
don.

mond Kenneth McLean, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth McLean,

Rev. H. Ciirrie performed
the double ring ceremony. Org-
anist Mrs. J. Turkheim played
traditional wedding music and
accompanied the soloist, Miss
Cheryl Monteith of London,
friend of the bride, as she sang
"The Wedding Prayer" and
"I'll Walk Beside You".
Given in marriage by, her
father, the bride was charming
in an imported Italian Silk faced
-peau de sole gown with Venice
lace. A high Victorian neckline
and wrist length sheath sleeves
adorned with scalloped bands
of Venice lace added to the semi-'
Empire waistline bodice toreiing
a slightly gathered formal length
skirt Om an old world air to
the bride. Dimensional style
Venice rice florettes were used
to adorn the bodice and lower
half of the skirt. Back detail
was centered on the cathedral
length train attached at the
1 waist , outlined with the lace
edging and matching lhce flo-
rettes. A floral halo was worn
to hold the elbow length bouf-
fant. bridal veil that completed
her bridal- ensemble. She car-
ried a cascade of pink roses
and white stephanotis.

The closing exercises of the
Vacation Bible School were held
in the United Church last Friday
evening with Rev. M. Morrison
in charge.
The service in the United
Church next Sunday will be con-
ducted by the U.C.W. After the
service a picnic lunch will be
served on the church lawn.
Mrs. watson Webster visited
friends at St. David's last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Taylor
returned home after a trip to
western Canada.
Rev. and Mrs. Murdoch Mor-
rison will be on holiday during
the month of August.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reid
recently took a trip through Nor-
thern Ontario.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Barker,
Ruth, Lorne and Glenn, of King '
City visited with Mr. and Mrs.
Fred McClymont over the week-
end.
Mr. Mac Webster returned
holm after a trip through Western
Canada. mr. and Mrs. George Woods
of Toronto called on friends and
relatives during the weekend. Mr.
Woods was a former resident of
the Village.

The marriage of Mona Marie
Enzensberger, Goderich, and
James Angus Robertson, Go-
derich, son of Mr. and Mrs.
James Robertson, Goderich, took
place at St. James' Church, Sea-
forth. The sanctuary was decora-
ted with arrangements of pink and
white mums. Rev. Father H. J.
Laragh,, Seaforth, performed the
double-ring ceremony, assisted
by Rev. L. Warr of Goderich.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a white crepe
pant dress with old gold silk lace
Monk's cowl and elbow length
cape. She carried, a bouquet -
cascade arrangement of pink car-
nations centered with mauve or-
chid. ,
The maid of ho r, Miss
Charlene Smithi Goderich, wore a
peony pink crepe pant dress with
bodice trimmed with white lace
and carried a bouquet-cascade
arrangement of mauve murhs.
The groomsman was Mark
Van Buskirk, London, and the
guests were uhered by Larry
and Leroy Siemon,"Goderich, and
Peter Filson, Goderich,
Miss Margaret Sills, 11-year,
w old cousin of the bride, as the
organist and accompanied
D'Orlean and Frank Sills, uncles
of the bride, when they sang
"Praise My Soul the King. of
Heaven", Oh King of Might and
Splendour", “Jesus, My Lord,
My God, My All", "0 Perfect
Love" and "Oh God of Loveli-
ness".
The reception was held at the.
'Seaforth Legion Hall' which was
decorated with mixed arrange-
ments of lilies and lupinS. The
bride's mother received the
guests wearing an Arctic blue
lurex dress with pleated Arctic
blue ace skirt over taffeta with
laee-quarter length sleeves and
Arctic blue jacket. Her corsage
Was pink sweetheart rosebuds.
The groom's mother wore a mint
green sR k chiffon over taffeta
dress' with cartridge pleated
skirt, yellow sweetheart rosebud
corsage, white accessories with
mint green velvet flower band in
her hair.
