What is a Brownie?
The following are descrip-
tions written by four Brownies
from the and. Seaforth Pack tel-
ling what a Brownie and what a
Brownie Leader means to them.
Perhaps Brownies would ap-
peal to you if you are a girl of
7 year. Better yet you may
know someone who would en-
joy helping with Brownies.
A Brownie is an elf that
does household chores. She is
very polite and cheerful. In
Canada they wear a brown un-
iform. They usually try to make
other people as happy as they are
themselves.
Linda Heard.
The wise old owl says that
Brownies are cheerful and obed-
ient, and that Brownies thinkof
other people before herself.
A Brownie wears a brown
uniform and a brown hat with a
gold Brownie on it. We wear
brown belts on our Brownie un-
iform. With a purse and pencil
on it.
We have neck ties that are
white with leaves on it.
The Brownies earn badges, so
that they can fly up to Guides.
