"Fun Night" was the theme for the January meeting of Sea- forth W.I., with Miss Eleanor Henderson as hostess. The president, Mrs. Lorne Lawson, chaired the meeting and following opening exertises, read a poem "The New Year." The-roll call was answered by "A past Christ- mas or New yeaes that I will always remember". The motto, 'Names', remember them, don't blacken them with gossip," was' commented on by Mrs.Lorne Dale. The program, planned by Mrs. Graham; Kerr and, Mrs. Lorne,_ Dale, included progressive euchre with prizes going to - MoSt points, Mrs. Lorne Dale;. Fewest points, Mrs. W. The word Charity to be for the roll call at February meeting. The Presbyterial meeting to be, held on May 13th at 2 o'clock in Seaforth. Mrs. Jack Thompson was to represent our Society as a voting delegate to the Synodical held in Paris in April. The Scripture lesson was read by Mrs..A.Har- rison taken from Romans 5: verses 1 - 13. Mrs. Helen Mc-. ,Millan opened the New Study Ma for this year on "This is China To-day."s.
