Last Thursday the Ripley Juven-
ile hockey team journeyed to
Goderich where they suffered a 6-3
loss.Dave MacDonald; Greg
Liddle and Roger Farrell each
scored once.
Sunday afternoon was a different
story as they went on a scoring
spree to defeat Kincardine 8-1.
Peter MacDonald scored 5 goals,
Roger Farrell 2 and Rick Smith one.

Lucknow Pee Wee Hockey team
tied 2-2 in Teeswater. Lucknow led
until the last minute of playwhen
theyreceived a penalty. Teeswater
scored a goal and tied the game
with only secondsleft to play.

Started Season
On Saturday
On Saturday, November 30th the
House League hockey schedule
began with the Flyers blanking the
Kings 4 to 0. Murray Hickey
notched 2 goals with Shane Hickey
and Steve Harman adding singles.
Glen Haldenby registered the first
shut out of the season.
In the second game the Sabres
edged the Canucks 3 to 2. Floyd
Courtney. Carl Courtney and Mike
Durnin tallied for the Sabres while
Shawn Drennan and Gerard How-
ard dented rhe twine for the
Canucks.
In the thirdgame the Islanders
' edged the Seals 5 to 4. • Bernie
Burgsma collected a hat trick for
the Islanders With singles going to
Pat Boyle and Jim Foran. 'Alex
Irvin also registered a hat trick for
the Seals with Allan Stanley
scoring a single.

Bantams Lose
To Teeswaler
Lucknow Bantam hockey team
lost .a close game last Tuesday
night as the Teeswater club edged
them out by a 5-4 score. Lucknow
led 2-1 going into the third period:
The Teeswater squad was
playing fine hockey : in the third
period and overpowered the local
boys with four goals. The game
was tied going into the last minute
of play. The winning goal was
scored in the last minute.
Scoring for Lucknow were Mark[
Frayne with two goals. Ron 'John-
son and Paddy Murray, each with
singles.
Lucknow will play an exhibition
( game in Kincardine . Saturday
