Samuel John Jordan is the son of
the late Mr. and Mrs. 'Dick Jordan
and was born in Morris Township.
Mrs. •Jordan, the former Bessie
Smith, was born in Grey Township
and at the time of their marriage en
December 4th, 1924 she was Wing
in Brussels. She is the daughter of
the • late - Mr. "airti- Mrs. Arthur
Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Jordan were
married at the Presbyterian Manse
in Brussels by Rev. J. P. MacLeod.
• Following their marriage, the
couple farmed for 32 years on the
•Sth fine of Morris Township before
moving to Lucknow in 1956 where
• they purchased the • home of Mrs -
Wilson Hamilton,
For several years, after moving
Lo Lucknow, Mr. • Jordan was
employed. as needed, by the late
Ernest Ackert. Mrs, •Jordan
worked at Pinecirest Manor for
many • years since • coming to
Lucknow.
Attending the dinner on Satur-
day and visiting ‘vith M. and -Mrs.
Jordan Were friends and relatives
from Windsor, Chatham.. Ltacan„
Bowmanville, Richmond- Hill, List-
owel. Brussels. Cranbrook, Strat-
ford and Lucknow. ,
Mr. Jordan has a brother- Clayton

a sister Mrs. J. R. (Vellma/
