Mrs. Jones had the misfortune to
sprain her wrist last week and is
wearing a bandage.
Mrs. "Chas. Fowler was taken to
hospital on Thursday with an injur-
ed leg. Mr. Fowler was staying
with their son Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Fowler and family in Parkhill but
returned to the village on Sunday.
Miss Rita Caza won a World
Book 'Bible in a free draw at
Dungannon Fair at the demonstra-
tion table where Dwight and
Marybelle Aldham were showing
World Book products. .
There will be no churchor
Sunday School in Dungannon Unit-
ed Church on October 20 due to
anniversary services at Nile.
Mr. and Mrs. Ross MacDonald
of Ottawa visited last week end
with his mother' Mrs. Lillian
MacDonald. Accompanying them
were their daughter Janet and her
husband, Mr. and Mrs. Richard
Ward, who are visiting relatives
in Canada before returning to Jak-
aria. Indonesia.

with a family dinner at Candlelite
Restaurant. • Present with them
were their daughter Barbara and
her husband Mr. and Mrs. Dave
Durnford, Brian, Kathy and Robert
of Ottawa; their son Murray and his
wife Mr. and Mrs. Murray Wilson,
Greg, Scott and Darryl. Mr. and
Mrs. Wilson farmed on the sixth
concession of West Wawanosh
until 1967 when they moved to
Goderich. Congratulations and

Mrs. Art Duff (nee Elsie Edna
Dobson) of - 1089 ,Edward Ave.,
Windsor passed away on Septemb-
er 28. Many village residents will
remember Art as a boy; since his
parents lived in Dungannon until
he was around 12 years old.
Sympathy is extended to the family
on the death of Mrs. Duff.
David Bere has joined the
Canadian Armed Forces in afield
engineering course and is presently
taking Basic Training at Cornwal-
lis. Nova Scotia.
Patsy. Lynn and Mary Anderson
went to Akron, Ohio for the week
