'and Mrs. Ross Forster of Lucknow
just recently returned from •an
Eur• opean tour. The tour included
28 young people between the ages
of 18 and 30 from Australia, New
Zealand, Africa, U.S.A., and Can-
ada. They flew to London, England
and met other tour members there:
The countries they visited were
Belgium; Holland. Germany. Aus-
tria, Switzerland and France and

They travelled by bus, tenting.at
night, and Woking two meals a
day. Several boat cruises, includ-
ing a cruise down the Rhine River,
werevery enjoyable. They found
coke and pop quite expensive,
having to pay 80 cents at some
places. Milk and pop were never
refrigerated.
• Joy visited in Scotland with a
friend from Ayrshire for a few days
and in London with a friend she
met on the tour. The girls found
• the houses in England and ,Scotland
extremely chilly with just one
fireplace heating the whole house.

Donald B. Blue for the Thanksgiv-
ing week end were Mr. and Mrs.
Donnie Blue and family of Toronto.
They also visited With his sisters
Betty and Bertha and their famil-
ies. Everyone is glad to see Donald
able to be out again after being in
Kincardine Hospital recently.

Hodgins of Ripley and London was
injured on her way back to London
in an accident near Seaforth.

Visiting with Mrs.Roy MacKenzie
for the Thanksgiving week end in'
Ripley were her three sons Ken,
Lorne and Dave namely Mr. and
Mrs. Kenneth MacKenzie of List -

er of Unionville, Mr. and Mrs.
Dave MacKenzie of Kincardine.

• Mr. and Mrs. Niels Frederiksen
of Ripley went to Toronto this past
week end. Nora stayed down in the
city and on Wednesday of this week
she will undergo eye surgery in
North Branson Hospital.

marriage vows in Teeswater United
Church on September.7, 1974, with
• Rev. A. Proud officiating.
• The bride is the daughter of Mrs.
William Gilbert of Kitchener and
the late Mr. Donald Donaldson.
The groom's parents are Mr. and
Mrs. Stewart C. Dubeau of London,
Wedding music was provided by
the 'Good Intentions' of which the
bride is a member. • They sang,
'The Wedding Song', The Lord's
Prayer' and 'We've Only Just
Begun'. They were accompanied,
by the leader of the group, Mrs.
Kay Smith. •
A candlelight Wedding in a
setting of aisle candelabra. entwin-
ed with greenery and pink and
mauve ribbon with formal candel-
abra and gathering baskets of pink
and mauve flowers decorating the
altar.
Given in marriage by her step-
father, the bride wore a floor -
length gown of • organza over
taffeta. The high neckline, long
puffed sleeves and scooped bodice
were of lace. The soft A-line skirt
had a deepband of matching lace
that extended from the waist, down
the front and around the skirt, and
also along the edge of the long
flowing train. Her triple -tiered veil
fell from a double strand of pearls
headpiece. The veil was accented
by a row of matching lace. She
carried ,a hand cluster of stephan-
otis. white sweetheart roses.
