in a formal gown of mint green.

giving dinner on Saturday evening.
Sunday visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. Bert Nicholson and Lois were
Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Langford and
family of Woodstock and Mr. and
Mrs. N. E. Evans and family of
Georgetown.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Scott held a
dinner on Sunday evening in
.honour of their granddaughter
Teeswater, sister , of the bride.
Their gowns. were identical to the
matron of honour. They all wore
white floppy wide brimmed picture
hats with green multicoloured trim
and carried cascade bouquets 'of
white shasta daisies with yellow
sweetheart roses and fern with
trailing yellow velvet ribbon.
Paul Martin of Mount Forest,
friend of the groom, was best man.
The ushers were Robert J. Kirk-
land of Windsor, brother-in-law of
the bride and Robert J. King of
Teeswater, brother of the bride.
All wore formal charcoal ' grey
tuxedos with yellow frilled shirts
with black bow ties, and a white
and yellow shasta daisy bouton-
niere.
Following the' ceremony a socia
hour; dinner and reception were
held at the Formosa Community
Hall where the guests were receiv-
ed by the bride and. groom's
parents.
The bride's mother chose a
formal gown of mauve embroidered
sheer nylon with long full sleeves
with wide cuffs and covered
buttons, She -wore a mauve and
purple orchid corsage. The
groom's mother chose a formal
gown of multi coloured nylon
chiffon with full skirt and cape
sleeves. She wore a corsage 'of
miniature pink and white carna-
tions. .
For their trip to British Columbia
the bride wore a beige and white
polka dot polyster silk jersey dress
with a short sleeved beige jacket.
A corsage of yellow daisies comp-
leted her outfit.
Mr. and Mrs. Nicholson will
reside in Brampton, Ontario. The
bride is graduate of F. .E. Madill
High School and St. Joseph's
School of Nursing, Guelph.
Honoured guests at the wedding
were the bride's grandmother Mrs.
Hilda Harris of Wingham; Mrs.
Emilie Elston of Wingham and
Mrs. Velma Falconer of R. R. 2
Teeswater: Other guests attended
from Guelph. Goderich, Hamilton,

The bride was feted with several
miscellaneous showers before the
wedding., Hostesses were Mrs.
Don Cassidy of Guelph and Marg-
aret Jeffray, Hanover; Miss,
Heather Hueston,'Wingham; Mrs.
Velma Falconer. R. R. 2 Teeswater
and Mrs. Garry. Falconer of Tees:
water.
A rehearsal party was given by
the bride's aunt and uncle, Mr. and
Mrs. Donald Delmage of Charles
Street. Wingham.
Commentator at the wedding
ceremony was George King of
Teeswater and toastmaster at the
wedding dinner was Edwin King of.
London. both uncles of the bride. •

Haldenby, Gary and Jefferey of
London and Debbie Haldenby of
Kincardine Township.
Donald Barr of Waterloo spent
the week end at his home here.
Two members from the Holyrood
Women's .Institute, Mrs. Marion
Harris and Mrs. Ellwood Elliott,
attended the course on "Sewing
with Knits" at Teeswater on
Thursday and Friday. These local.
leaders will be holding a class here
and invite all ladies in the
community to attend.
The Rev. H. L. Jennings of
Wroxeter will be conducting ser-
vices here through October while
Rev. and Mrs: G. Garratt are on
holidays..
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs.
Clifford Brindley on the birth of a
son.
Mrs. Gertrude Walsh entertain-
ed members of her family at a
Thanksgiving. dinner on Sunday.

Heads Busy Buddies
The October meeting of the Busy
Buddies was held' in the home of
Mrs. Glenn. Noble.
A very interesting Thanksgiving
program was presented by Mrs.
Robt. Struthers and Mrs. , Don
Huffman: Elections were held for
an executive. The elected officers
are president, Mrs. Glenn Noble;
vice president, Mrs. Wayne Stan-
ley; secretary, Mrs. Garry Sutton;
,treasurer, Mrs. Rae Cranston.
Plans were made and commit-
tees chosen for the Christmas
Bazaar which will be held from. 2 to.
4 p.m. on Saturday, December 7 in
Johnston's Restaurant.
Plans were discussed for the
November meeting which will
consist of a Drug Forum with a
•panel of experts participating. All
interested adults in the community
are welcome to attend.
Plans . were made to - ask the
Dominion Life Choir to perform a
concert here in May 1975.
The "Busy Buddies" is an
interdenominational, religiously
oriented group of young women
