spent the past two weeks with his
son Alex Hackett and Mrs. Hackett
of Ashfield and other relatives.
David MacMillan of St: Cathar-

MacMillan. He was accompanied

and his aunt Miss Norah Mitchell

`day evening of •last week when it
was learned of the death at his
home in Tccswater of one of its
most highly respected and out -
Family Dinner On
40th Anniversary
Mr. 'and Mrs. Isaac' Nixon of
Belfast were honoured by their
family at a dinner at the Log Cabin
Restaurant. Lucknow on the occa-
sion of their 40th wedding anniver-
sary en Saturday. September 28th.
Thirty attended the family dinner.
Mrs. Nixon is the former Della
Irene Plowman of West Wawa -
nosh.
Attending were their five sons
with their families - Mr.•and Mrs.
John Nixon and.family of Bclgravc.
Mr. and Mrs. Carman Nixon and.
family of. London, Mr. and Mrs.
Ralph Nixon and family of "Wing -
ham, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Nixon
