The third meeting of the Luck=

Lucknow Central . PUBLIC, School
on Thursday, September 19 at 7.00
p.m,
The meeting was opened by the
president Nancy Ritchie. Everyone
repeated the 4-H pledge. The
minutes of the previous meeting
were given by the secretary Joanne
Ritchie. The treasurer, Ruth Alton
gave her report. Roll call was
answered by nine members.
Mrs. Ritchie discussed the
-houseguest with the club members.
Elizabeth Ritchie demonstrated
the proper methods of packing a
suitcase. The meeting was then
closed with the 4-HCreed.

Dungannon 4-H
The first meeting of Dungannon I
4-H club was held at the home of
Mrs. Fred Young at 7 p.m. on
.Tuesday, September 17. The
meeting opened with 'six member
answering the roll call. The
election of officers took place with
the following result: President,
Cathy Pentland, Vice President
Leola Chisholm, the office of
Secretary and Press Reporter will
rotate, and Elaine Stewart will hold
it first. All, members are to bring
suggested names for the club to the--
next
henext meeting which will be held at
the home of Mrs. Dan Maclnnes.
Each member took part in the
reading of the discussion from the
leader's pamphlet which contained
information on hospitality, refer-
ence file methods and filing
material. For group work each
member participated in flower
arranging. The leader, Bev
Maclnnes and Donna Young, hope
to have al) members present at the
next meeting on Wednesday, Sept-
ember 25�
Happy Hostesses
The third meeting of .the St.
Helens Happy Hostesses was •held
September 17 ' at the St. Helens
Hall at 7.15. There were 13
members and 4 leaders present.
Each girl answered the roll call

last meeting. The next meeting
will be held at the Hall September
24. at 7.15 p.m. •

The marriage of Brenda Louise
Bradley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Bill Bradley, Goderich and Robert
George Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Roy Miller of Stratford, took place
on Saturday, August 24th at St.
George's Anglican Church, Goder-
ich. Canon Garwood Russell
officiated. '•
The church was decorated with
candelabra carrying out a red,
white and blue theme with blue and
white mums at the altar.
Church organist was° Mr. Herd
'man.
Mrs. Eileen Lynch was soloist
and sang Wedding. Prayer accomp-
anied on the guitar by her husband,
Dr. Bria,n Lynch.
The bride was given in marriage,
by her parents. She was escorted
to the altar by her father wearing a
gown of 'white polyester eyelet.

softly rounded neckline and simple
classic A-line :skirt.. The, bishop
sleeves were drawn into, a V-shap-
ed cuff, fastened with pearl but-
tons. She wore a white picture hat

Miss Faye Bradley of Goderich,
sister of the bride, was maid of
honour. •
Bridesmaids were Miss Alice
Bradley of Gderich, sister of the
bride,. and Miss Wendy Chase of
London:. They wore identical
floor -length gowns of navy blue
with red sash. and white Peter Pan
collar, and white crocheted hats
trimmed with a red band and blue
flowers:

They all carried bouquets: of. red
feathered carnations with white
and blue .cornflowers.,
Groomsman was,Willi.am Miller,
brother of the groom, and ushers
were Raymond Black and Brucc
Rodrigues, all of Stratford.
A wedding dinner was held at St.
George's Parish Hall,. Stratford and
a reception at. Sanford Valley Hall.
The bride's mother received the
guests wearing a floor -length
sleeveless V-neck gown of white
polyester crepe.. with red and blue
geometric motif.
Her corsage was of red roses.
The .groom's mother' assisted
wearing a floor -length gown of red
and white polyester voile,styled
with .fitted bodice, A-line skirt and
full sleeves with fitted cuffs. Her
corsage was of white carnations.
For travelling the bride chose a
long red, white and blue plaid
A-line skirt topped by a navy
long-sleeved blouse and white
shrink with navy trim.
Following "a wedding trip to
Northern Ontario. the couple will
reside in Waterloo. •
Prior to the wedding the bride
was guest of honour when Misses
Wendy Chase, Faye and Alice
Bradley entertained at a shower at
the Chase residence .in' Goderich.
Mrs. John ' Durnin, R.R. 3
Auburn and .Mrs.. Barry Young
were hosesses at a shower attended
by friends and relatives.
Mrs. Carlyle Bannister and Mrs.
Harold Hibbert entertained neigh-
bours and friends at a luncheon in
her honour at the Mill at Benmiller.
