Mrs. Nixon is the former Della Irene Plowman of West Wawanosh. Mr. and Mrs. Nixon have lived in' Ashfield all their married life. C. • ies-Downin1974 Baby Cant Al Lucknow Fall Fair On Saturday The Baby Contest at Lucknow Fall Fair attracted fewer contest- ants this year than it has for many years. Twenty-five babies were entered this year with thirty-nine entries last year. This year the babies were divided into four classes with prizes of 1st - $5.00, 2nd - $3.00, 3rd - $2.00 in each class. Mrs Jack McKim was in charge of the contest. Mrs. Barry Hackett registered the entries. Mrs. Jack Morris of London and Mrs. Dan Cleary of Waterloo, registered. .nurses, were judges.. The contest was held in the arena due to the cool weather. Dawn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hogan of R.R. 6 Goderich, was first prize winner in the up to 4 Months 'class. Chris, son of Mr. and Mrs.' Doug Stevenson of Lucknow was second. Terry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Stanley of R.R. 1 Holyrood; was third.
