From Huronview
The weather was ideal on Sat-
urday for the Blyth Threshers re-
union. Twenty residents attend-
ed the reunion and all report a
good display of engines and equip
ment.

Marie Flynn and Lorne Lawson
joined Norman Speir and Jerry
Collins to provide the old tyme
music for Monday's get together.
Mr. Miller of Exeter was welcom-
ed to the Horne during the after-
noon and the Christian Reformed
volunteers assisted with the activ-
ities.
The program for ''Family Night"
consisted of a visit from the Clin-
ton Horticulture Society and en-
tertainers from Brucefield , Kippen
and Bayfield areas. Each of the
residents were presented with a
corsage at the entrance to the' aud•
itorium by members of the society.

Intermediate Softball Teas One -Up On
Mt. Forest In League "A" Finals
Following the program, arrange-
ments of flowers were presented
to the following: eldest lady and
man, all those over 90, youngest
residents, etc., as well as a
bouquet for each of the rooms in
the infirmary. Members of junior
club attended and assisted with
the flowers. Taking part in the
program from the Bayfield area ,
and arranged by Mrs. Garrett, who
also provided the piano accomp-
animent Were: Lisa Taman, Reb-
ecca Fawcett , 'Cathy Mernerm ,
Wendy Turner , Norman Dean and
John Garrett. Taking part from
the Brucelield, Kippen area were
Sandra , Shelley and Sue Anne
Finlayson, Jane Allan, Kim
Thompson, Lori Little, Kathy
Martins, Dianne Wilson and the
Tropical Six.

Lucknow Intermediate Softball in Mount Forest and Sunday's
Team is one up in a best -of -seven game back here.
series for the W.O.A.A. Intertned-
iate A finals against Mount Forest. The 4th and 5th games will be
played in Mount Forest on Friday ,
September 20th and Sunday the
22nd. The sixth game will be
played in Lucknow on September
25th, if necessary, and the 7th in
Mount Forest on the 27th, if nec-
essary.

the next two games by identical
