Mrs. Beverley Kay, a Royal
Bank employee at Kamloops,
British Columbia , received a trans-
fer to the Royal Bank at Goderich
and commenced work there on
Monday.
Sunday visitors at Strathroy with
Mr. and Mrs. Hector Purdon. were
Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Tiffin, Mr.
and Mrs. Angus Falconer and Kev-
in,
ev-in, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mowbray
Mr., and Mrs. Wallace Milligan,
Clara, Mary Lou and Brent Capern
of Sarnia on Saturday went to
Streetsville and visited with Mr.
and Mrs. Pat Donnelly and Anglea
and on Sunday attended the Lad-
ner family reunion.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry, Moss of
Plattsville were Sunday visitors
with her parents Mr. and Mrs.
Ben McClenaghan. On Mon-
day evening Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Ryan of Goderich visited with
Mr. and Mrs. Carl.McClenaghan.
Mrs. Ryan and Mrs. McClenaghan
are sisters.
Murray Simpson, who is on his
second year at Fanshawe College,
spent the week end' with his par-
ents Mr.. and Mrs. Hugh Simpson.
Mi . and Mrs. Albert Coultes on
Saturday attended the Threshers
Reunion at Blyth and visited with
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Coultesand
family.
On Sunday Mujray Gibb had
the misfortune to have the index
finger on his right hand 'broken
and had to have a cast placed on
the hand and lower arm. The
community wish Murray a rapid
recovery.
Mr. Beverley Kay left :on Mon-
day for class at 11 o'clock at
Knox. College Toronto.
Russell Ross on Saturday attend-
ed the Threshers Reunion at
Blyth and Mrs. Ross visited with
her daughter Mrs; Jim Taylor,
East Wawanosh.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald
1Beecroft , Shannon, Kevin and
Heather of Wingham, Mr. and
'Mrs. Kirk Beecroft , Angela' and
Jennifer of Exeter were Sunday
visitors with their parents Mr. and
Mrs. E. W. Beecroft and Karen.
Little Mark Ross of Kitchener
recently spent a few days holi-
days with his grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. Russel Ross. On the
week end his parents Mr. and
.Mrs.. Jim Ross of Kitchener came
and took him home.
Sunday morning at 11 a.m. ser-
vice at Lucknow Presbyterian
Church the congregation were
given a musical message by Kev-
in Machan, Kevin Hogarth, and
Jack Whytock, R. R. 5 Lucknow,
with their violins and accompan-
ied by pianist Mrs. Hogarth play-
ing "Whispering Hope" and "Come
Thy Mighty King".
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kay,
Robbie , Bradley and Lori of
Guelph visited Sunday with his
brother Mr. Beverley Kay, Mrs.
Kay, Wendy and Graham.
Albert Coultes on Thursday
accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Norm-
an Coultes, and Miss Irerie Paton
to the Robb Funeral Home, Sarn-
ia where their cousin Mrs. Lorne
Lucas rested.
Anniversary services at Blue -
vale United Church will be held
September 16. There will be no
service at Whitechurch United
Church.
Saturday evening Dr. and Mrs.

and Jack, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald
Machan and Kevin, Mrs. Hogarth

Quite a few 'from here on Satur-
day attended the threshers reunion
at Blyth. All report a very inter-
esting display.

were in Toronto Thursday and Fri-
day. He registered at Knox.Col-
lege on Thursday for the coming
term.
On Sunday Phil Chadwick, Tim
Jones and Shawn Whitcroft of
London were callers on Mr. and
Mrs. Victor Emerson.
