Pace. 1 ' Motor Accident Takes Life Of Belgrave Woman A two -vehicle crash on Thurs- day, August 15, took the life of a, 51 -year-old Belgrave area wornan.. Marion McBurney, wife of Allan. McBurney, R. R. 5- Winghani was On her way to work about, 3•p. ni. on Thursday and was driving on the 10th concession of East Wawa - nosh when. her car was in collision with a gravel truck driven by Alan I. Shumacher of Mildmay. The collision took place at sidcroad 36-37. ° Mrs. McBurney died at the scene' of the accident. Mr. Shurnacher suffered minor injuries. Both were alone at the time of, the accident. Mrs. McBurney was 'a native of • Ripley. She married Mr. Mc - Burney in Ripley on December 26 1962. Surviving besides her hus- band are three children, Danny, Ricky and'April, all at home. Her father, Russel White of San Josc , California also survives as does one sister Mrs. Dave (Isa- belle) Isa-belle) MacDonald of Goderich. She received her education in Ripley before training as a regist- ered nurse at London's Victoria Ilospital. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church , Bel - grave , and the Women's Mission- ary .Society . The funeral w'as held from the S. J. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Hamilton were in Niagara Falls on the Holi- . day week end and visited with I'viiss Betty Hamilton who was in hospital for surgery on August 2nd.
