system and the past , when the
teacher lived in.the section and
was ,known and loved by everyone.
Mrs. MacPherson thanked Mrs.
Whitehead and gave her a gift in
appreciation. All joined in a con-
test on the Townships of Bruce •
County., .
Mrs. Marion Harris gave,a splen-
did motto on "Seven Words to
live by", and also gave the court-
esy remarks. The meeting clos-
ed with "0 Canada" and Grace. "
A delicious lunch was sewed by
the hostess and directors , Mrs.
Bill -MacPherson and Mrs. Marion
Harris.

of Hanover visited with Mr. and
Mrs. Alex.Percy.
Mr. and Mrs. Stan Hotchen of

church Presbyterian Church on
Sunday. The guest preacher was
the R6. Elder, who was minister
in Milverton for 10 years, during
the time when the MacPhersons
lived there. They also visited
with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emer-
son of Whitechurch and with Mr.
and Mrs. DanMcInnes and family
and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Laurie at
