wore a formal -length gown of
sheer organza with ,,chantilly,
lace and tiny pearls on a'
traditional neckline, the waist-
band and also offsetting the
flounce of a full circular skirt.
Her veil was cathedral length
trimmed with chantilly lace
and a: 'headband. Her flowers
were a nosegay of white daisies,
yellow and blue pinochio
mums, baby's breath and pink
carnations.
Donna Halley, , sister of the
bride, Kitchener; was maid of
honor; She wore a formal -
length gown of pale green
organza patterned in pink and
yellow flowers, and styled with
sheer puffed sleeves and a full
ruffled skirt. She carried white
daisies, pink and yellow
pinochio mums andpink baby's
breath. .•
Bridesmaids were Miss
Kathryn McClure and Miss
Margaret Regan, both of Lon-
don. They chose formal pink
organza gowns patterned in
tiny rose-colored flowers. They
wore sheer organza matching
stoles over their sleeveless
gowns which featured full ruf-
fled skirts, and carried flowers
identical to those 'carried by the,
maidof honor.
Groomsrrian was Michael
Courtney, brother of the groom,
,Ashfield Township. Ushers
were Edward Courtney, brother
of the groom, Goderich, and
John Halley, brother of the
bride, Kitchener.
The wedding reception was
in Saltford Valley Hall. The
bride's mother wore a formal -
length gown of yellow chiffon
with lace skirt and matching
chiffon stole. Her corsage was
white daisies and stephanotis.'
The •mother of the groom wore
a formal -length gown of aqua
polyester satin, matching jacket.
and accessories and a corsage
of pink roses.
Honored guests at the wed-
ding were Mr. and Mrs. Pete
Murray, Michigan; Mrs.
Theresa Halley who travelled
from Topsail, Newfoundland
for the wedding; and Mrs. Ger-
trude McCarthy, grandmother
of the bride, .Kitchener.
A wedding trip followed the.
reception, the couple
honeymooning at the
Delawanna Inn, Honey Harbor
on Georgian Bay. For
travelling, the . bride wore an
emerald green dress dotted in
white with a white jacket and
matching green belt and a cor-
sage of pink carnations.
Mr. and Mrs. Courtney are
living at 62 Waterloo Street,
North, Goderich.
Prior to her marriage the
bride was feted at events in her
honor. A community shower
was given by St. Joseph's CWL
in Kingsbridge and ,the staff of
-Goderich Psy,chiatric Hospital,
where the bride is employed,
. presented her with a gift.
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Courtney
entertained at a rehearsal
party on the eve of the wed,
ding.
