O O * O * Itis reported that Mrs. Bob .Love is a patient in Kincardine and District hospital undergoing medical treatment. Also there for -the past two weeks Mrs. Evelena (Chas.) Wyld. Ripley area friends wish both Isobel and Evelena improved health and a return home to Ripley. Popular Ripley businessman George Mac- Lean while carrying on at the store with. the help of his wife Joy and, his mother Mrs. Jenny MacLean, has been troubledwith his health. Last week he reported some im- provement. Friends hope this trend continues. • • • . 0 0 The Schnurr Gravel Hauling firm from Hepworth have finished gravelling the concession roads in Huron Township. While hauling the gravel from the well known MacTavish pit on the sec- ond concession they had their liv- ing quarters in a large two storey camper located at the south end of the new Huron Township Muni- cipal building. They moved it and their families to a new loca- tion during the early part of last. week. 0. 0 0 O 4 Dennis Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Martin of concession six east in Huron Township was home with his parents for the week end. During the summer vacation Dennis is employed in the Marketing Service Branch of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food in Toronto. Dennis recently received word that he had success- fully passed. his exams at Cornell, University at Ithaca in New York State. The high temperature, . along with the high humidity, produced the "muggy" air conducive to this activity. Swarms were reported at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Al- bert Middelkamp on the tenth of Huron west of the railroad tracks, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Boyd on the sixth west, and at the neighbourhood of Dun- can and Lillian Simpson south of Kintail.
