The bride is the. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Define of Holyrood, The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.' Fraser MacKinnon of R. R. 5 Lucknow. Rev. Gllenn Noble officiated at the double ring ceremony. Given in marriage by her step- father, the bride chose a white floor- length gown of polyester crepe with white lace pinafore , long cuffed sleeves and,a train. She wore a short illusion veil. Miss Linda Van Boyer' of Holy - rood, sister of the bride , was maid of honour. She 'wore a gown of pink crepe de, sheen with flounce of flocked nylon batiste and butter- fly collar and :carried• a white um- brella with a corsage of pink and mauve carnations tied on the handle. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Jim Mur- ray of Holyrood , Mrs. John Em- berlin of Lucknow and Miss Mary Mac Kinnon of R. R. 5 Lucknow, sister of the groom. R. 5 Lucknow was organist and accom- panied the soloist Miss Marianne Frayne of Kingsbridge who sang "Morning Has Broken" and "Be- cause A reception followed at the Ripley Legion_ Hall. The, head table was attractively decorated with mauve and pink carnations: The bride's mother chose a floor -length gown of yellow poly- ester/crepe with yellow sheer over- top trimmed with white and green flowers and a white corsage. The groom's mother wore a floor -length gown of deep rose polyester trimmed with sequins . and white corsage. • Music for the reception was by Ken Schade of Kitchener. For travelling the bride wore a yellow and ,white 'crimplene pant- suit. Lucknow Jr. WI The third meeting of the Luck - now Junior Women's Institute was held Tuesday, June 18, at the Town Hall. A handbook and pamphlets containing information about the organization were hand- ed "out to each girl. • a • The president , Mary Nelson ':onducted the call to order. Roll call was taken by each girl, show- ing the crafts she had made at home. The minutes of the .last meeting were read by Nancy Brown. Some business was then discussed. A workmeeting is planned for Tuesday, July 3Oth at 8.00 p. m . in. the Town Hall. Mrs. J. Nicholson of Belfast . • showed some small simple crafts and each girl began on her own for the Craft Festiva 1. . The meeting closed with lunch being served.
