The president Le Roy Harrison
announced that a picnic would be
held on July 28th at Mitchell Park
in honour of Mrs. Floss Willia rn -
son of Vancouver and it was decid-
ed to hold the reunion again in
1975 on the second Saturday in
June at the Seaforth Park.
RIDERS ROOST
The regular meeting of The
Riders Roost Saddle Club was held
on Tuesday evening .at the home
of Ken and Carolyn Taylor , in the
absence of the President Nina,
Silverstone , who has resigned from
the club as she and her family will
move 'to Quebec in the near future,
sorry Nina we needed: you. Caro-
lyn Taylor was in charge of the
meeting.

Daton's horse, Hoedown Sun,
placed sixth in the Quarter Horse
show at Exeter and also did very
well in English Equetation. Lisa'
Gunby placed third in Western
Pleasure on Holly Three. Bar who
is owned by Ross Elliott of Seaforth,
This was at the Clinton Spring
Fair and Horse Show held overthe
week end. Sadie MacMillan is in
the process of training her mare
Jalna , and hopes to soon ride her.
Sandra (Sandy) Oreion of Wing -
ham ,
ing-ham, also one of our club mem-
bers, will be working at. the Luck -
now swimming pool and will be
staying with the MacMillan for
the summer. Sandy is also a ;very
good rider.
July 2nd isthe next meeting
and a very important one as at this
time we will make our plans for
the. summer , so do try to come
and join with us. We plan to
have as our guest Ddug Campbell
of Lucknow , who now has a posi-
tion with the Shur Gain Co. and
hopefully Doug will have some
choice film to show to us, Visit-
ors are always welcome and this
meeting will be held in back of
The Tack Shack to make it more
central for everyone.
Members are asked to turn out
for the reunion parade Saturday ,
June 29th and please have your
club blanket, for further informa-
tion contact Ken Taylor. The
club hopes to have a trail ride on
July 14th , but plans are not com-
plete.
The topic for the'evening was
The`Senses of the Horse, Vision,
Hearing and Sensitivity to Touch
and was given by Carolyn who had
as her model, Copper , who didn't
seem too interested as he kept
dozing off. See you at the parade
on June 29th.
